Safety and security
We put the safety and wellbeing of our students first. Police Scotland regularly describe our campus as one of the safest in Scotland. We provide a 24/7 security team and a range of support services, such as our Safe Taxi Scheme.
Childcare
A range of childcare facilities are available both on and off campus. For example, we have our own kindergarten and nursery facilities. Places are limited, so we encourage you to get in touch as early as possible. If you’re bringing your family to the UK for the first time see our family advice page.
Spiritual wellbeing
Our University Chaplaincy is an independent, multi-faith unit that provides spiritual and pastoral care to students on a personal and confidential basis. A prayer room and washroom for Muslim students is located centrally on campus.
Students’ Union
Our Students’ Union is dedicated to the welfare and social needs of all our students. When you join as a student you automatically become a member of the National Union of Students (NUS). This allows you to get involved with all the events organised by our Students’ Union.
English language support
We want to make sure every student at the University of Stirling gets the most out of their time here. We have courses, workshops and support sessions to help international students with English language. Learn more about our English language support.
